TAHAP AMALAN PERLAKUAN BEREKONOMI DALAM KALANGAN PENJAWAT AWAM DI PUTRAJAYA

Abstract

Tekanan ekonomi boleh menyumbang ke arah ketidakharmonian dalam institusi kekeluargaan dan mencetuskan isu sosial. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap amalan perlakuan berekonomi dalam kalangan penjawat awam di Putrajaya. Sebanyak lima buah kementerian di Putrajaya telah dipilih sebagai lokasi kajian menerusi kaedah persampelan sistematik. Sebanyak 500 borang soal selidik telah diedarkan kepada responden yang merupakan penjawat awam yang menyandang gred jawatan 54 dan ke bawah. Data yang diperoleh telah dianalisis secara deskriptif dan analisis mendapati bahawa perlakuan berekonomi responden berada pada tahap yang tinggi. Responden didapati telah melakukan pelbagai langkah dalam mengamalkan perlakuan berekonomi ini dalam usaha mereka untuk menangani kenaikan kos sara hidup yang semakin dirasakan pada masa kini. Oleh itu, boleh disimpulkan bahawa responden telah mengubah cara gaya hidup mereka demi untuk mencapai kesejahteraan hidup yang baik walaupun dalam keadaan ekonomi yang sukar dan mencabar.

Abstract
Economic pressures can contribute to the disunity of family institutions and create social issues. Therefore, this study aims to identify the level of economizing behavior practice among civil servants in Putrajaya. A total of five ministries in Putrajaya have been selected as study sites through systematic sampling method. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to respondents who were civil servants with grades 54 and below. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and the analysis found that the economizing behavior of the respondents was at a high level. Respondents were found to have taken various steps in adapting to this economizing behavior in their efforts to address the rising cost of living. Therefore, it can be concluded that respondents have changed their lifestyle in order to achieve good living despite the difficult and challenging economic conditions.
